Four years and finally a minor update! It took a very pissy call with Earthlink to fire me up but at least my website gets an update out of it. In the spirit of Peter Griffin, the fictional character from the adult cartoon 'Family Guy' I have my own 'What Grinds my Gears' page. I hate it when I have a valid complaint with a company and can't find the proper outlet to vent. They aren't interested in FEELINGS or CUSTOMERS, places like Earthlink only like MONEY. Well, they are going to get less MONEY because they don't care about CUSTOMERS (like me).
Thanks Earthlink. You got me fired up enough to update my site after 4 long years.

I created a kick ass menu page. I am checking out Java possibilities to attempt to make the site slick without getting a "clunky" feel. The very first page "index" has a "clunky" feel and that may be next on my list.

The intro movie, Army clan/squad page, and Army page have been updated to show my new squad. Last night 02/20/04, I was offered to join ^USA^ and I have accepted. HOOAH!

Tonight, I have added the start of my new Harlequins page. There are trial rules out for these killer clowns and I can substitute craftworld eldar models. I may buy some archive models or wait and see what Games-Workshop might do in terms of new codexes.

I have updated the Americas Army, Black-Hearteddevils, and Site Map pages. The intro has changed as well. I have put in a 2 weeks notice with =BHD= and am looking for a new online gaming clan. I have several prospects and will choose the best fit within a few weeks or sooner.

Added new Flash intro created with Swish2. This is the main point of my site; to continue to learn new things and try them out here. I have a lot more room not that I have a new host. I will put up all of the baby Joey stuff as well as Deanna's wedding soon. I mean it this time. All I have to do is upload them and twiddle a page or two.

The overhaul of billnapier.net
was mostly complete by the end of the summer. I have neglected to do anything
else with the site. I am very active in =BHD= and am on the Allied Gaming League
council as well. I have updated my BHD page and hope to get my Warhammer armies
painted so I can photograph them and display them. I also need to finish many
of my games workshop pages. If you are looking for them sorry. Try again in
about six months LOL.

The overhaul of billnapier.net continues. It is still in progress and started on 06/30/03. For a quick but incomplete overview of finished pages, check my site-map. If you run across a page link or button that goes nowhere then I have not completed it yet. I am working furiously in my spare time to complete this fast. I have resubmited the site to "addme" for search engine sites. This time, I will get my games-workshop pictures uploaded! Each page so far does not have any army pictures or fleet pictures yet. I will probably do a giant photoshoot one day and upload all at once. You will not see a "completed" message for the site because it is ever-changing as I learn new things. I hope to have all of the missing original content back up soon. Then I can start learning new things like ASP, some scripting, maybe Java? I may put test pages up from time to time and then pull them down again.

New Warhammer 40k scenario designed by me called "Mortars and Minefields". This has not been tested yet. It may be unbalanced. I am not making the tradition minefields. 3/4 of the board is one giant minefield. The defender also gets two groups of three mortars for barrage fire. I will test it and adjust as needed. Let me know what you think. Needs tweaking? ...let me know.... The file is downloadable on my 40k page.

Finally, I put up some better Orc pictures on my Warhammer Fantasy page and new Space Marine pics on the 40k page. I am writing a paper in English on "explaining". It is about "How to paint Warhammer miniatures". I have a dual purpose with this one. I write it, get my grade, and then post it on my site. I can get homework and website maintenance done at the same time. >:) Posted, is a rough draft of my Instructions to beginners on how to paint the warhammer figures. I am not finished with it. I will try to remember to post the complete version when I am done with it. I will just make one extra page for it and then link to it from my Warhammer and 40k pages. WHAT THE HELL? What are you looking for, really? I checked my log file on search strings that led people to this site. I have a variation, but by far, the most hits come from search strings that involve my rubber duck bathroom. Hit me back at info@billnapier.net . I'm curious why people feel the need to search for that when it is SO EASY to find any of that in your local stores. I'm not trying to put you down, but really want to know what is going on with the ducks? I like 'em but would be damned if I'm going to scour the internet looking for them. I just put this up so mom can see them installed after she bought them for me. I also get some freaky search strings that lead to the shaved pussy page. One thing for you people.....Perverts. Night!

I added "The Best Page in the Universe" to my short list of funny sites. Whatever position you take on Maddox's issues it is just plain funny to read. My all time favorite is his "I am better than..." page. I think that my bud, Bill sent me this link a long time ago. Warhammer, 40k, and Gothic fans, I will post new pics someday. I just haven't had the need to do so lately. I will eventually find the time. I think that I am holding off until my Orcs are fully painted. Yeah, that's a good excuse.

WOW, 2 months and no update. Sorry everybody. Well, the intent of this site was to have a place on the web to practice skills with making and updating a website. I know same old same old so far. I gotta learn new stuff. Updates this time include Fantasy Warhammer Orc page is updated and will have new pics soon. Gothic too. I just need batteries for my camera.

OK, I finally have my BattleFleet Gothic and Necron 40k pages updated. This is due to the re-release of BFG, and the codex for the Necrons (cough finally cough cough). I will do a "text only" update right now and will finally update the pictures for BFG. My current pics are fuzzy at best and do not include my new Necron Fleet. Plus, the Ork fleet is now ALMOST fully painted with the addition of a partially complete Ork Hulk and 2 Ork Roks. Enjoy. Remember, the pics for BFG , later this weekend. I will be adding a new HDD to my system and dick around with the PC so I will be busy. I will try to make it a priority to get those photos up.

Ok, is everyone else getting a 403 "forbidden" error when logging onto jeffrowe.net? At first I thought it was some server problems. Well I could be some sort of web site for some "inner circle" of associates. I give it a week, If I still can't get on there then I'm taking down all references of the site. xxxx@xxxx.net seemed to also have quit working. This just forwards to my home address xxxx@xxxx.net . I went to the account manager at Omnis.com and it looks like the "info@" address was reset. Ok, I think I have fixed it. I am still working on that custom 404 error. "broken link on purpose" is just for testing. This update isn't as easy to see. All I am going to do today is just add some META tags in the source coding to help the crawlers out there classify this site and list it in a search engine. ..... ciao

I have figured out how to use my custom 404 file not found page, (i think). I got the idea from www.jeffrowe.net . Jeff has a "disturbance in the force" 404 page.....cute.

Ok, I finally have some time to update my page. Man does it need it. The Necrons have mostly been released, and I need to put a Space Marine tactica up. Plus, I started playing Battlefleet Gothic, and need to post a page for that. I also noticed some sorely missed links for the computer related links. I don't know how much of this list I will get done today but here goes... "oh yeah....Duckies. Mom bought me a bunch of rubber duck related bathroom decorations and I will have a place for the pictures as well.
Later, I will finish updating the new picture links for the Battlefleet Gothic pages and I really need to update the 40k Necron page....time time time.... need more.

FINALLY!!! I figured
out how to thumbnail pictures; just in time for Deanna and Richard's wedding
too. I have cut down the file-sizes of the ultrasound pictures in Gabe's page.
They were something like 2200 x ???, now they're 1024 x ???. Guess how I did
the thumbnails. I inserted the pic, right-clicked and selected Auto-Thumbnail.
DUH. Problem is, it now has 2 files for one picture; a small and a large. I
also added the Jackhammer sound to all of the Cartman GIFs.
I have built most of Deanna and Richard's page. It won't be available until
after the wedding.

grunting from the hard labor. Added links: Cool Mini or Not link, and one for
mIRC. FYI I am trying to learn how to use this IRC program. Yes, I know. I suck
at the 'net stuff. I gotta learn sometime right? I'm going to try to use mIRC
with Mark and John to start playing our pencil-and-paper Earth-Dawn game again.
In the IRC tutorials, I found out that left-handed people make the smiley faces
this way (:< So, say good bye to this one >:) Damn, and I got used to
making that face. Who makes up this useless crap anyway. Some of these 'techies'
need to date more.

I was playing around with Army Builder, and saved my lists as "HTM". Hmmmmmmm.....I could post those on my individual army pages instead of my misspelled / typo-ridden crap. That reminds me, I will have to go through the pages. I found several misspellings.

Well, this is my first update. The site finally went online around 11:30am today. The Visual Basic page has been redone, and added my VB programs. Enjoy. My resume has also been updated, well polished anyway. A coworker was enjoying my new site and printed out the resume. She polished it up for me. That was very helpful. It looks better.
Warhammer40k fans, The Visual Basic page now has the Dice program available for download. It is extremely buggy on the ATTACK option. <updated note 06/03/03>

I am preparing for my initial launch day. I talked with the guys at Omnis, and they told me the site will be available for upload after 24 hours. I am taking this down-time to fix some of my pages. I realize that most of my pages need help and I will just have to concentrate on one at a time. I will frequently update the pages within and will post a description of the changes on this home page. I am looking forward to this. It's a lot of fun for me.
